A national survey shows how social media may be a factor in rising mental health issues among young people. A combination of "FOMO", or fear of missing out, a lack of sleep from aimlessly scrolling before bed, and the constant need to be on social media is causing some teenagers to be anxious and depressed. What can parents do? Watch for symptoms like angry outbursts, poor school performance, extreme appetitie changes, and social isolation. Also try and limit your chid's phone use before bed. Watch more to hear from teenagers themselves.
