Have you ever found the perfect toy that you know your child wants for the holidays, only to find it sold out on every online store? It turns out this isn't only due to high-demand amongst other parents. Cyber-scalpers are buying up toys like Fingerlings and L.O.L Surprise! Dolls, and reselling them for huge markups through third-party retailers like Amazon and eBay. Software allows these "Grinch-Bots" to purchase all of the toys before families can buy them. Fingerlings, normally $14.99, are now selling for $100 on Amazon and $999 on eBay.
