Dr. Carol Ewing Garber is a clinical exercise physiologist.

Her clinical practice and research interests include the role of physical activity and exercise in the prevention and treatment of chronic diseases and disability in populations ranging from toddlers to very old adults. She is a Professor and Chair of Biobehavioral Sciences at Teachers College, Columbia University where she serves as the Director of the Applied Physiology Laboratory. She is a past president of the American College of Sports Medicine.
